I am very excited to announce the official launch of the “Dame Vida-sOccket Action”, a special campaign with the Spanish platinum-selling recording artist Huecco and his Fundación Dame Vida!  Together, our team and Huecco will use the fusion of sport and music to bring light and smiles to communities around the world!  Huecco designed the graphics for the limited edition ball, and he will dedicate all of the royalties from the sales of his upcoming album “Dame Vida” to distribute sOcckets to those in need.

The first single off Huecco’s new album is also called “Dame Vida”, which in English means “Give Me Life”.  It is more than just music – it is a revolutionary call to action.  The music video for “Dame Vida” features the sOccket ball and a ton of our favorite sOccket stars who support the Dame Vida-sOccket Action and our mission to raise awareness about the energy needs of the developing world.

The official music video premiere for “Dame Vida” was held yesterday in Providence, RI, where the American and Spanish mens’ soccer teams are preparing for their friendly match on June 4.  At the premiere event and press conference, we were lucky enough to be joined by Spain’s David Villa, Sergio Ramos, and Pepe Reina as well as their coach, Vicente del Bosque (all four of them appear in the “Dame Vida” clip!).  We are so thrilled to have their support, and we are looking forward to seeing them play versus the US!
